THE MINOR GROUP WINS NEW FEDERAL CONTRACT
Annapolis, MD…The Minor Group, Inc., has been selected by the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network to help plan the conception, pricing, marketing, and distribution of ten or more specific products or product lines consonant with the Network's purpose, goals, brand and messaging. Each product must offer strong consumer appeal, generate revenue, and advance the Network's core purpose of engaging people with the Chesapeake Bay's many special places and stories, in order to ultimately stimulate individual involvement in and support for conservation and restoration of the Bay and its tributaries. "We are delighted to have been selected for this project," said Hollis Minor, The Minor Group's President. "We look forward to assisting in an endeavor that supports a matter near and dear to our hearts - the survival of the Chesapeake Bay."
The National Park Service (NPS), in cooperation with the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP), coordinates the Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network, a partnership system of national parks, state parks, refuges, museums, historic communities and water trails throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Managed by many different entities, each of the 140+ sites portrays a different part of the Bay story. Collectively they help visitors find, enjoy, and learn about the special places and stories of the Chesapeake and its watershed to experience and understand the Bay as a whole. The Network and all participating Gateways do this because the Chesapeake's future depends on watershed residents and visitors feeling connected with and understanding the Bay and its resources.
